About us
Set up in 2004 in Sydney, Repair Central is an Australian owned and operated retailer/workshop based business that specializes in game consoles, LCD TVs and computer repairs. We provide services for all the top major brands, including Apple iPhones, Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo.
Our Strengths
Repair Central has been providing people with a fast & reliable service over the past few years. We always use original parts or parts sourced from the highest quality supplier during our services to ensure you get the best quality possible.
Our fast and friendly service
At Repair Central we provide you with expert advice on our product range and are highly committed towards customer service. We will advise and inform you on our services and ensure that you pay and receive the repair/service you need.
We take all measures to answer your inquires within hours and return shipping on products will commence shipping within 24-48 hours of finishing the repair/service on your product using TNT Couriers or Express Post for efficient and secure deliveries.
Shipping & Delivery
For customers that would like to use our postal service to receive their product back we use Australia Express Post for Nintendo DS, Nintendo DSi, Nintendo Wii, Sony PSP and Apple iPhone. As for Sony PS3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 we use TNT Couriers (Metro Areas 1-3 days, Country Areas 3-5 Days)
Note:
- Postage insurance is only provided if customers select Standard Australia Post compensation. This applies to all postage items.
- When packing your product for return we ensure that it is packaged neatly and carefully, Please do not sign on any items where there are signs of tampering.
- Customers are responsible for redelivery fees
- Customers are responsible for providing the correct delivery address.
- Customers are responsible for all shipping and handling charges in the event of a warranty claim, we do not cover for return shipping charges.
Payment Methods
Our payments are processed via ANZ egate for security and peace of mind. We do not store and credit card information – All credit card details are processed securely by ANZ Bank Australia.
Orders
When booking an order with Repair Central all orders will be accessed and diagnosed within 48 hours of arrival. We ensure you get the repair/service that your product requires. If you have booked the wrong repair/service we will contact you and advise you on any price differences, if you do not wish to continue with the order a $20 Appraisal fee and return shipping charges are applicable.
Note:
- Please make sure your products are sent to us within 2 weeks, if products are not received within 3 weeks a $20 booking and administration fee will be deducted from the original amount, and the deducted total will be refunded.
- Cancellation of repairs during the repair process carries a 50% fee charge.
Warranty
Repair Central offers you a warranty on our repairs/services, unless stated otherwise our repairs/services carry a 3 month warranty. Remember to keep your receipt otherwise you will not be able to claim your warranty. We are not affiliated with any game console manufacturer, and do not honor any warranties on their behalf, also we do not handle any manufacture warranty information, therefore we cannot give any advice if a console is still covered under warranty, customers are advised to seek this information prior to repairing their console with Repair Central.
Conditions of warranty:
- Tampering of warranty seals will void your warranty
- Any signs of Physical abuse will void your warranty
- We reserve the right to deem a warranty not applicable if we believe that a product has been damaged intentionally.
In some instances we cannot provide a warranty for some of our repairs/services.
These include:
- Batteries
- Cases
- Housing or consumable products
- Software related repairs
Special Condition Warranty
These products carry warranties of which can only be claimed if the product has followed the conditions that are set for it. The products that are under a special condition warranty are:
- Playstation 3 YLOD & XBOX 360 RROD services carry no warranty; this is a restoration/refurbishment service only.
- Nintendo DS, DS Lite, DSi, XL game cartridge slots carry limited warranty only, no warranty is provided if the internal pins/connectors are bent or rusted
- Cases, Housing and cosmetic repairs carry no warranty.
- LCD screen carry a DOA – 9 or more dead pixels will be replaced, Limited 30 days warranty provided.
Pricing
At Repair Central our prices are set to give you the top premium deal possible for our services. All our prices are in AUD $ and are subjected to change without notice, we will honor all orders prior to the change.
Note:
- All our prices include the cost of parts and labor
- GST taxes are applicable to all orders
- Shipping charges are Non inclusive
Privacy and Security
At Repair Central we take top priority in security when it comes to payments to ensure you peace of mind. Our website is secured by a Comodo SSL certificate and no credit card information is stored on our server. All account information is only accessed by senior staff which treat it with the highest privacy and payments are processed by a secure third party bank.
Replacements for accessories/parts
If your goods arrive faulty or develop a fault with in the time of the warranty then you can return it to Repair Central for a replacement. Please contact us if you wish to return a fault item. Our staff will process your claim and if approved you will need to send us your faulty good through post or courier, note that you the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the item to Repair Central.
Repair Central reserve the right to refuse to replace any items which fit under these criteria:
- The return item(s) is/are incomplete or is/has missing parts
- Not returned in its original packaging
- Show physical damage to product caused by transit.
- Batteries
- Cases
- Housing or consumable products
- Software related repairs
